Simone Pedretti debut collection ‘Lapis’ (stone in Latin) tells of the Trentino territory in Italy with a contemporary key. Born from the encounter between manual skills and design, the young designer Luca Sartori from the studio Superluna has transformed the fascinating and precious petrified wood in a collection of furnishings most unique and fine.
Ciocát is a series of three tables reinterpreting a wood stump (ciocát in Trentino dialect) in which a fine metal cylinder holds a circular slice of petrified wood. Small wheels hidden in the base allow you to move the tables within the environment.
Lapis is the ultimate sophistication - where simplicity, purity of line and an emphasis on materials converge to express a timeless elegance.
Handmade in Italy.
Ciocát is available in three sizes.
Petrified Wood: Oned Brown or Polished Black.
Metal: Micaceo Iron, Golden Metal or Acid Brass.
Petrified wood is a natural product. Variations in colour and texture are inherent to each piece.
